Walking-pedrail intelligent pushing hydraulic system used for pushing steel box girder of bridge construction

The Oujiang Beikou Bridge is the world’s first three-tower, four-span, double-layer steel truss suspension bridge, also the first large-span high-speed, national highway dual-use suspension bridge in China and one of the most technically difficult and most complicated construction bridges in China and the world with a total length of about 7.9 Kilometers, using innovative technologies in multiple areas. In the bridge construction project, the BIM technology is applied throughout the cycle, which is the first time in China.

The total length of the 2nd line of Beikou Bridge civil construction is 3.23 kilometers and mainly include the North Tower, the North Anchor and the North Approach Bridge.The steel beams of the whole bridge of the North Approach Bridge are 510 segments with a total weight of about 19,000 tons and the pushing construction length reaches 1.01 kilometers.The design of the pushing beam section includes vertical and horizontal slopes, curved sections, variable section sections and variable longitudinal slope sections. The maximum pushing length is 560 meters which is extremely rare in the domestic steel beam pushing construction.Among them, double-split conjoint synchronous pushing is a major technical innovation to solve the problem of double-segment pushing of steel beams.The use of a walking-pedrail intelligent pushing hydraulic system in the project is a key to this technological innovation.This system is mainly composed of hydraulic oil circuit, electrical control, mechanical steel structure support, friction reduction and other parts which effectively integrates mechanical, electrical and hydraulic into one so as to realize the multi-point reciprocating lifting, pushing, correction and other actions during the construction process which is simplified and the construction period is greatly saved.
